Daniel Koranteng is the main suspect in the murder case of Ahmed Suale. He has been charged with helping in the crime and murder after the prosecution changed the original charges against him.
On April 2, 2025, at the Madina District Court, Chief Inspector Nana Afua Bamfo told the court about the decision to replace the initial charges with new ones.
The prosecution explained that Daniel Koranteng led two other suspects, who have not yet been caught, to Ahmed Suale’s house where the murder happened.
It was also revealed in court that before Ahmed Suale died, he confirmed that Daniel Koranteng leaked his photos to be shown on Net 2 Television.
The lawyers for Daniel Koranteng asked the court to release him on bail because he has been held since March 12. However, the request for bail was denied.
Judge Susan Nyarkotey ordered that Daniel Koranteng remain in custody and return to court on April 17.
