Ghanaian actress Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, widely known as Ahoufe Patri has recounted her experiences with propositions for sexual favors in exchange for roles early in her acting journey.
During an interview on Max TV, she disclosed that the problem goes beyond the film sector, impacting multiple fields.
“The issue of sex for roles is widespread, not just in entertainment.
When I was about 19, I met a producer interested in my talent, but he insisted on getting to know me personally first,” she disclosed.
“I had a boyfriend whom I deeply loved, and I couldn’t imagine doing something like that with another man. The producer got upset,” she added.
Years later, after achieving fame as Ahoufe Patri, she unexpectedly met the same producer once more.
