Gospel artiste Joyce Blessing has firmly denied rumours of a rift between herself and fellow singer Piesie Esther, describing such claims as baseless.
Speaking in an interview with Onua FM, the “I Swerve” hitmaker addressed ongoing speculation that a supposed clash in their song release dates stemmed from a long-standing feud.
Though Piesie Esther had previously debunked these claims in a 2023 social media post, the rumours have persisted. Joyce Blessing, however, clarified that any overlap in release schedules was purely coincidental, stressing that there is no animosity between them.
“She herself has addressed the rumours, but you know how social media is—they pick what they want,” Joyce Blessing stated. “There is no bad blood anywhere.”
She further explained that artists often finalize release dates without prior knowledge of each other’s plans. “By the time an artiste realizes a date is clashing with another’s, it may be too late to change—submissions and artworks are already done,” she noted.
Additionally, Joyce Blessing refuted allegations that she enlisted a TikTok influencer to fuel controversy over the supposed clash between her song “Victory” and Piesie Esther’s “Mo.”
“I never contacted anyone. I don’t even have her number,” she insisted.
The singer urged the public to disregard the rumours, emphasizing unity and mutual respect within the gospel music industry.
