IF IT IS A CRIME TO OWN DOLLARS WE BETTER CONVERT ALL FOREX BUREAUS INTO CHOP BARS – YEA Boss Malik Basintale

Malik Basintale, the interim Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), has questioned whether possessing dollars in Ghana is considered illegal.

The Basintale boy claimed that if possessing dollars is a crime, then Ghana should transform all forex bureaus into chop bars.

Malik Basintale states that there is no law in Ghana that makes the possession of dollars a criminal offense.

Speaking on TV3 New Day Malik Basintale stated, “The fact remains there is no law criminalizes the possession of dollars. In the Cecilia Dapaah matter the crime was not in the possession of dollars the crime was the number of dollars she had juxtaposing it to her income.

If you think that Sammy Gyamfi should be prosecuted then even Cecilia Dapaah cannot make it to hell because she will go beyond prison and hellfire”.

His remarks follow shortly after Sammy Gyamfi faced intense criticism after a video emerged showing him giving large amounts of dollars to the fetish priestess turned pastor, Patricia Asiedua, widely known as Nana Agradaa.
