KING PROMISE PLEDGES TO FULLY SPONSOR HIS SPOKESPERSON, TILLY AKUA NIPAA’S MASTER’S DEGREE EDUCATION IN APPRECIATION OF HER CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS HIS TGMA WINS
The Ghanaian musician King Promise has promised to pay for media analyst Tilly Akua Nipaa’s further studies in recognition of her commitment and outspoken support throughout his triumphant TGMA 2025 Artiste of the Year campaign.
The artist, who is well-known for songs like “Paris” and “Perfect Combi,” disclosed this token of gratitude in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM.
He clarified that the choice was made soon after his management team became aware of Tilly’s academic goals.
Gregory Bortey Newman, also known as King Promise, commended Tilly for her expertise and commitment to his TGMA 2025 campaign.
I like Tilly. I believe she was diligent in executing her job. I was just speaking with my manager—she is going to pursue her master’s degree, and I want to fund that. She’s done an excellent job and contributed greatly to what we achieved,
Throughout the TGMA season, Tilly Akua Nipaa, who gained notoriety as an entertainment commentator, was outspoken in her support of King Promise.
She made appearances on a number of venues, including as DJ Slim’s Streets Is Watching, where she vehemently defended King Promise’s claim to the Artiste of the Year award over Stonebwoy and Kweku Smoke, among other nominees.
