Tanzanian Afropop sensation Diamond Platnumz has officially married his Wasafi Records label mate Zuchu in a private Islamic wedding ceremony. The low-key event marks the culmination of a relationship that has sparked widespread public interest and mixed reports about their marital status.
Although Diamond Platnumz had publicly declared his intention to marry Zuchu ahead of Ramadan 2025, questions remained as Zuchu’s mother, veteran singer Khadija Kopa, previously stated that no formal marriage proposal or dowry had been made. The couple’s relationship had also appeared on rocky grounds after Zuchu announced their breakup in November 2024, while maintaining a professional partnership.
Despite the past uncertainties and occasional public displays of affection, Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu are now officially husband and wife, sealing their bond in a ceremony that was both intimate and private.
