FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER REVEALS SUSPECT IN GHANA EMBASSY SCANDAL RAKED IN $4.8MILLION ANNUALLY

Foreign Affairs Minister, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has disclosed fresh information regarding the ongoing Washington D.C. embassy scandal, suggesting that the main suspect, Mr. Fred Kwarteng, purportedly received an astonishing $4.8 million annually from unauthorized activities associated with the embassy.

The Minister stated that initial investigations revealed Mr. Kwarteng acted without any formal approval or sanction from the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

He stressed that none of the claimed income was sent to the state, implying that the individual kept the whole amount from the illegal activity.

The disclosure introduces a notable turn in the current investigation, highlighting worries about how a scheme that profitable remained unnoticed and ungoverned for such an extended period.

Additional investigations are in progress to ascertain the complete scope of the scandal and uncover any further accomplices.
