Popular Ghanaian rapper and media personality Trigmatic has embarked on a new chapter in his personal life, remarrying four years after his first marriage ended in divorce.
The artist, born Nana Yaw Oduro-Agyei, exchanged vows with his new bride in a private ceremony held in Accra on August 30, 2025, in an event that blended romantic celebration with emotional moments.
Videos shared by music producer Wei Ye Oteng captured a particularly touching moment when the DJ unexpectedly played the jingle from Trigmatic’s 3FM Drive Time show, triggering an emotional reaction from the rapper and cheers from wedding guests.
“He got surprised with his radio jingle; he was like whaaaat, lovely union. May this last forever #Otengbeats,” Oteng wrote in his social media post.
This union marks Trigmatic’s second marriage after his first with Edith (Dita) Schandorf, which began in March 2017 and ended in 2021, though the rapper only publicly announced the divorce in 2024.
Reflecting on his previous marriage during a recent interview, Trigmatic had described the experience as a difficult but transformative period: “Life has been a learning curve for me after the divorce. I have learnt so much. I don’t think it’s something anyone should go through. It was tough, but I had God… it also made me appreciate having family.”
The private ceremony was attended by close friends and family members, signaling a fresh start for the artist who has been open about the challenges of his previous marriage and his growth since then.
