Nollywood actress Regina Daniels was seen in an emotional breakdown in a video shared early Friday, expressing feelings of despair and frustration over intense family struggles, declaring, “I give up.”
The video, posted to her Instagram story, showed the actress in a state of visible distress. “I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” a tearful Regina said, revealing the heavy toll of the ongoing situation.
The crisis appears to be linked to the detainment of her brother, Sammy. Just a day before her emotional outburst, Daniels had shared a positive development: the reconciliation of her parents, who were once “sworn enemies.” She revealed that they had put their differences aside for her happiness and were in Abuja working together to secure Sammy’s release.
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she had written on Thursday.
However, the prolonged nature of her brother’s detention seems to have overwhelmed her. In a determined post before her breakdown, she had vowed, “Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!”
