Afro-folk musician Wanlov the Kubolor has discussed his ongoing mission to give back to society, independence, and innovation.
Wanlov claimed that by living independently of social expectations, he had discovered serenity.

He claims that Kubolor represents opposition to colonial institutions such as the church, the school, and the nuclear family.
Wanlov claims that after years of being misinterpreted, he is now enjoying the benefits of remaining true to himself.
The musician also said that he recently founded The Kubolor Foundation with the goal of promoting youth empowerment and community initiatives.
In keeping with his free-spirited personality, Wanlov rode a motorcycle barefoot to the interview, serving as a visual reminder of his artistic sincerity.
