Ghanaian highlife legend Ebo Taylor has passed away at the age of 90, with reports indicating his death occurred on February 8, 2027.
His demise came just one day after the launch of the Ebo Taylor Music Festival and exactly one month after celebrating his 90th birthday in January.
The renowned guitarist, composer, and arranger was a titan of West African music, known for his work since the 1960s and his recent resurgence in popularity.
