A HERBALIST EXTRACTED METALS, WOODS, COWRIE SHELLS FROM MY BODY – Guru Opens Recounts Juju Attack

Ghanaian artist Maradona Yeboah Adjei, also known as Guru, recently recounted a frightening encounter with black magic (juju).

During an interview on Emelia Brobbey’s Okukuseku Show, Guru shared how three of his personal assistants used black magic to curse him, resulting in him being unable to speak while performing on stage.

Guru revealed that he ignored two pastors’ warnings about spiritual attacks at first, but eventually faced the consequences himself.

“One day, a pastor called and told me directly that I was under a juju attack. Another pastor mentioned that I had been spiritually shot. Since then, I suffered from constant stomach pains for eight months,” Guru explained.

He detailed a specific event where he suddenly went mute while performing his popular song “Bonsam Ani” on stage. “As soon as I started performing ‘Bonsam Ani’, I couldn’t speak, and I became stiff. The DJ stopped the music, thinking I wanted to interact with the audience, but nothing was working. I had to leave the stage completely,” he explained.

After going to the hospital several times and receiving no clear diagnoses, Guru sought help from a herbalist. The herbalist performed a process to extract different items such as metal rings, hooks, wood, and cowrie shells from his body.

Guru recounted, Whenever I went to the hospital, they found nothing. The herbalist eventually extracted metals, wood, hooks, and cowrie shells from different parts of my body.

This disclosure contributes to the continuing discussions regarding the utilization of black magic in Ghana’s entertainment sector.
