Kennedy Agyapong, an ex-member of Parliament and aspirant for the party’s flagbearer, has cautioned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that a divided kingdom is unsustainable.
Kennedy Agyapong asserts that the NPP can succeed in the 2028 elections only if it seeks forgiveness and reconciles with one another.
During the current NPP’s Thank You Tour, Kennedy Agyapong urged the executives to offer amnesty to Alan Kyerematen, Paul Afoko, and other suspended individuals.
Kennedy Agyapong states that all individuals suspended by the party need to be reinstated for unity within the party.
Speaking at the Takoradi Technical University Auditorium during the NPP’s Thank You tour, Kennedy Agyapong stated, “If we ever stand a chance to unite, I charge the national executives to grant amnesty to Afoko, Alan and everybody who has been suspended by the party. Let’s recall them to the party and unite”
“I will stand on behalf of the NPP party to apologize to everybody NPP has offended.
“What I am talking about is not about ego. It is about peace. It should not be difficult for any of us here to admit we have wronged a lot of our party people, hence their decision not to vote for us”, he added.
