A NATION CANNOT BE RUN WITHOUT PEOPLE UNDERSTANDING THAT THEY ARE PART OF THE GOVERNMENT – Stonebwoy

Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has highlighted the significance of individuals acknowledging their responsibilities and actively participating in the administration of a nation.

He believes that each person is a crucial member of their government and society, and they all have a role to take in confronting the issues that African nations and third-world countries are dealing with.

Stonebwoy spoke about using his music to bring people together during an interview with France24 in Paris.

We are all already a part of the government. A nation cannot function without people understanding that they are part of the government. I use my music as a means to unite and spread a message,” he stated.

“I address common issues that occur in Africa, specifically in Ghana, but these issues reflect and amplify those faced by other third-world countries.

“We need to recognize the challenges we face, amplify them, and make significant changes,” he added.

Stonebwoy recognized his duty and found happiness in bringing together Africans with his music, acknowledging his influence as a musician in Africa.

It is a great honor to carry such a responsibility, representing the people of Africa within the continent, diaspora, and humanity as a whole, as we are all one people.

“Using music as a talent and tool to unify humanity, especially black people on the continent, brings me immense joy. It gives me a sense of responsibility and usefulness,” he concluded.
