Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has criticized the Communications Minister and the President regarding the Independence Day bundle packages.
It will be recalled that on Independence Day, Communication Minister Sam Nartey George stated that the government had instructed the different telcos to offer data packages to the citizens.
In a post Shatta Wale recently made on social media, he said he strongly believes that Ghanaians require opportunities to improve their lives instead of free data for anything.
Shatta Wale, as he is commonly known, stressed that the package will not alter the harsh realities of the lives of the Ghanaian people.
Instead, the creation of wealth opportunities for the populace should be prioritized by the country’s leadership.
His concern was that as the country’s leadership provides free data to citizens, they will be draining the nation’s funds and resources to benefit themselves while the populace remains impoverished.
Hee said; “This is not what Ghanaians need massa ..You think this is what can make you stay in power Abi .. You didn’t even say 1000ghc for every Ghanaian and small time you will be planning to buy properties abroad …Next Joke please !
