Ace Ghanaian actor and producer, Van Vicker has opened up on his political ambitions and plans to be part of the decision-making process in governance.
Speaking to Jessica Opare on Citi FM, Van Vicker revealed that he wants to become the president of Ghana some day after he was asked to confirm rumors of him wanting to go into politics.
“How did you hear that? [I’m interested in politics] … I mean yeah it is true,” he replied.
Van Vicker was also asked about the fix the country movement and why he did not join the movement if he has political ambitions as he claims.
He replied: “I think it’s a collective effort because if they say let’s clean our surroundings and I decide not to do it, it has a lot of repercussions.
“So it’s a collective effort, it’s not just government fix it, it is we all fix it so I am not taking a stand that we should fix ourselves, neither is it government should fix the country, it is collectively, let’s fix the country,”
Like a true politician without any firm stance, he added: “That is my stand and I didn’t want to go one way or the other because if you throw weight to one side, those who dey the other side go scatter you,”
