ADWOA SAFO SET TO APPEAR BEFORE NPP DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE ON APRIL 7

Sarah Adwoa Safo, who used to be the Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, will meet with the Disciplinary Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Monday, April 7, 2025. This meeting will take place because of an ongoing investigation by the party.

On March 24, Mr. William Yamoah from the NPP, who is in charge of finance and administration, wrote a letter to Ms. Safo. The letter asked her to help with the investigation, following instructions from the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee.

This meeting is arranged to begin at 11:00 a.m. It will be held in the Conference Room at the NPP Headquarters located at Asylum Down in Accra.

Along with the letter, there was also a referral from the party’s General Secretary sent to Ms. Safo for her review.

“You are advised to present any documentary evidence or witnesses pertinent to the matter under investigation,” the letter stated, further indicating that Ms. Safo is permitted to bring legal representation if she wishes.

Although the specific details of the investigation were not mentioned, it seems to be linked to recent statements made by Ms. Safo. She accused the party leaders of not supporting her when she came back to Parliament in 2023.
