Ghanaian television presenter, actress and socialite, Valentine Nana Agyeiwaa popularly referred to as Afia Schwarzenegger has filed a lawsuit against outspoken legal practitioner, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw.
According to the writ of summons served by Afia’s legal team sighted by NKONKONSA.com, even though the matter has been pending in this honourable court Maurice Ampaw uses every opportunity to use the processes of this court to threaten, disrespect and verbally abuse Afia Schwarzenegger on television and radio.
You would recall that Lawyer Maurice Ampaw is throwing his weight about for single-handedly silencing Afia Schwarzenegger.
According to Maurice Ampaw, he has used court cases to mellow Afia Schwarzenegger.
He revealed during an interview that Afia Schwar has now been tamed. She no longer fights unnecessarily and also does not insult people unprovoked.
He noted that Afia is now responsible. She behaves well and she is also educating herself to become a better person.
Lawyer Maurice Ampaw noted this because of his court case with Afia Schwarzenegger.
“I have humbled Afia Schwarzenegger a point where she is now a good girl. Afia who was very uncouth and disrespectful is now a very good and responsible girl. I have straightened her. I was able to achieve that by scaring her with the previous court sentence. She had to run to the court and beg,” He stated in an interview with KasapaFM.
Part of the writ of summons issued by the legal team of Afia Schwarzenegger stipulates as follows;
“The 1st respondent is counsel for the Plaintiff in this matter
The 2nd respondent is the presenter of a programme known as Ghana Kasa on Kasapa FM, a radio station operating in Accra.
That in the year 2022 the Plaintiff herein issued a writ of summons against the defendant.
That even though the matter has been pending in this honourable court the 1st respondent uses every opportunity to use the processes of this court to threaten, disrespect and verbally abuse the Applicant in the matter on television and radio.
That very recently he was seen and heard using the 2nd Respondent’s platform, a programme called Ghana Kasa on Kasapa FM, stating that he has used the processes of this honourable court to tame the uncouth “afia Schwarzenegger. Attatched is a video of the said programme and a subsequent article on same published by Ghanaweb marked as Exhibits A and A1.
That as an officer of this court the 1st respondent’s actions are reprehensible and calculated to prejudice the outcome of this pending matter before this honourable court.”
