Some of Afrobeats’ biggest names, including Rema, Ruger, and Gyakie, are set to headline the highly anticipated Afro Jam Festival 2025 this July, bringing a fusion of African, Caribbean, and global sounds to Japan.
The multi-city festival, renowned for its eclectic lineup, will kick off with Ghanaian songstress Gyakie—best known for hits like “Forever” and “Something” performing in Okinawa (July 18), Osaka (July 24), and Tokyo (July 27).
Nigerian superstar Rema, the chart-topping artist behind “Calm Down,” “Hehehe,” and “Charm,” will take the stage in Okinawa (July 20), Osaka (July 22), and Tokyo (July 27). Meanwhile, his compatriot Ruger, famed for “Bounce” and “Asiwaju,” will electrify crowds in Osaka (July 23) and Tokyo (July 25).
Adding to the excitement, South African amapiano duo TitoM & Yuppe—who rose to fame with “Tshwala Bam”—will perform at Tokyo’s Musashino Forest Sports Plaza on July 26.
The festival’s star-studded lineup doesn’t stop there—international acts like Jason Derulo, Shenseea, The Wailers, and Saweetie will also bring their signature sounds, ensuring a dynamic celebration of music and culture.
With tickets expected to sell fast, fans across Japan are gearing up for what promises to be one of the summer’s most electrifying musical experiences.
