AGBEKO REFUSED ENROLING IN A REHABILITATION PROGRAM AFTER DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO GET HIM ON A NEW PATH – Edem
After attempts to help former musician Agbeko did not produce the desired results, Edem expressed his disappointment.
In a post on X, Edem described the actions he and his team took to assist Agbeko in getting better after the latter’s heartbreaking “grace-to-grass” confession on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty.
He described trying to stabilise and uplift Agbeko by spending the whole day with him.
“It’s with deep disappointment that I want to inform all well wishers and family, that the entire team followed up on Agbeko and we did everything possible to get him on a new path,” Edem said, explaining that they had dedicated time and resources to guide Agbeko toward rehabilitation.
Edem thanked everyone who helped with the intervention.
“Thanks to everyone who assisted and thanks to team VRMG,” he added.
During his interview on Hitz FM, he shared that his struggles began after “a girl [he] met at a concert introduced [him] to drugs,” a revelation that sparked conversations about mental health, addiction, and the unseen battles many artistes face.
