AKOSUA SERWAA AND ERNESTINA FOSUH WARN ROMAN FADA OVER DADDY LUMBA’S FUNERAL
Family Issues Public Caution, Stating Former Manager is Spreading False Information and Has No Authority

The family of the late Highlife legend, Charles Kwadwo Fosuh (Daddy Lumba), has issued a stern public warning to Philip Kwabena Agyeman Appiah-Kubi, widely known as Roman Fada, to cease all unauthorized activities related to the musician’s funeral.
A press release signed by the widow, Mrs. Akosua Serwah Fosuh, and the sister, Ms. Ernestina Brempomaa Fosuh, accuses Roman Fada of engaging in “misleading, unauthorized, and detrimental” actions by spreading false information and distributing funeral invitations with incorrect dates while the family is still in private negotiations.
The family explicitly stated that Roman Fada is not a member of the Fosuh family and therefore holds no “legal, moral, or traditional” authority to speak or act on their behalf. They further revealed a critical detail: the position of “manager” that Roman Fada claims to hold was officially terminated by Daddy Lumba himself before his passing.
The statement serves as a formal cease-and-desist notice, demanding that Roman Fada immediately stop making public statements, distributing unauthorized funeral materials, and interfering in private family discussions. The family warned that any further misrepresentation would force them to pursue legal remedies.
“The family is working in unity and good faith to ensure that the funeral of our beloved Charles Kwadwo Fosuh (Daddy Lumba) is conducted with the dignity, respect, and love he deserves. We will not allow misinformation, opportunism, or unauthorized individuals to disrupt this process,” the family stated.
The public, fans, and media houses have been urged to disregard any information not issued directly by the Fosuh family or their officially appointed representatives.
