Ghanaian media personality, artiste manager and entertainment critic, Halifax Ansah Addo has vehemently asserted that the press conference organized by embattled actress Akuapem Poloo could put her in more trouble.
Akuapem Poloo held a press conference at her lawyer’s office in Accra on April 24, 2021` where she expressed appreciation to her fans and sympathizers who supported the call for her release right from the beginning of her court case through to her sentencing following her bail of GHC 80,000.
Sharing his thoughts about Akuapem Poloo’s comments at the press conference, Halifax Ansah Addo argued that Akuapem Poloo’s case is sensitive and still pending in court so the whole idea of putting up a press conference was useless and risky.
According to the OKAY FM presenter, the mother of one could be shooting herself in the foot and could have very grave ramifications.
“The press conference was only useful to the media but it was totally useless to the substantive case in the court. It is even risky looking at the content of what our sister [Akuapem Poloo] said at the press conference” he said.
