PRESIDENT AKUFO ADDO RECEIVES HIS 3RD HONORARY DOCTORATE DEGREE IN FRANCE

On Monday, October 10, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo receives an honorary Doctor Honoris Causa degree from Sorbonne University in Paris, France.

For this reason, the president of Ghana is in France for a six-day business trip, having left Ghana on Saturday, October 8, he left.

He will receive his third honorary doctorate degree on Monday when he is awarded the honorary doctorate.

Recall that he received his first honorary doctorate in law from the prestigious Fort Hare University in South Africa in May 2016 and his second honorary doctorate in humane letters from the University of Liberia in December 2017.

3News reports that prior to the receipt of the Honorary Doctorate from Sorbonne University, the President will address the Executive Board of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) at its 215th Session.

Whilst in France, he will also address the Asia Society Forum on the theme, ‘To Act in Troubled Times: new perspectives from France, Asia, Africa and the world’, and commission the refurbished Chancery building of Ghana’s Embassy in Paris.
