Ghanaian dancehall king Shatta Wale has taken aim at critics of Sammy Gyamfi, the CEO of the Ghana Gold Board, in response to backlash regarding a viral video showing him giving money to Nana Agradaa.
Shatta Wala asked his critics if they were aware of when Sammy Gyamfi began assisting the streets.
The dancehall artist pointed out that Ghanaians have a tendency to damage people’s reputations excessively.
Sammy Gyamfi is facing intense criticism after a video emerged showing him presenting large amounts of dollars to fetish priestess turned pastor Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa.
In a Facebook post, Shatta Wale stated, “Do you all know when Sammy Gyamfi started helping the streets? All of you should shut up and leave the young man alone if you don’t know about someone’s humble beginnings. We like tarnishing people’s image too much”.
