Bridget Otoo, a journalist and broadcaster with Metro TV, scoffed at her colleague Paul Adom Otchere’s assertion that it is incorrect to assume that Cecilia Dapaah alone was the owner of the US$1,000,000 reportedly taken from her.
On July 25, 2023, Adom-Otchere, the host of Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana, revealed that among other things, he had seen the charge sheet and had access to important details regarding the case.
Speaking in-depth about the problems, Adom-Otchere claimed that the beleaguered former sanitation minister’s deceased brother left her $800,000, which two of her former home helpers are accused of stealing along with her $200,000 in a theft in 2022.
He explained that the late brother, a sub-chief of the Asantehene gave the money to their late mother, who also transferred the same to Cecilia Dapaah.
The narrative has been described by Bridget Otoo as a cock and bull story.
