It is gathered that Anas Aremeyaw Anas and Tiger Eye PI will debut another exciting undercover investigation on November 14, 2022 at the International Conference Centre in Accra.
The “Galamsey Economy” documentary exposes incidents of alleged bribery and corruption.
A documentary on Ghana’s mining industry was released in 2019 by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his TigerEye PI team before this.
The government’s initiatives to combat illegal mining were only one of the several instances of systemic corruption that Anas and his associates were able to illuminate.
Among other things, Anas exposed and disgraced in front of the public numerous high-profile people who were meant to crack down on illegal mining but instead sold their integrity for cash.
The 2019 expose by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas named Mr. Charles Cromwell Bissue, a member of the Presidential Staff and the Secretary of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM).
In the video, Mr. Bissue can be seen taking money from a mining company to expedite the clearance process.
He can be heard ordering his team to hurry rapidly on the business’ paperwork in the video.
