The founder of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), Dr. Kwaku Oteng, has responded to reports of an attack on one of the station’s presenters, Ohemaa Woyeje, by alleged thugs on the station’s premises. In a statement released on Friday, March 14, 2025, Dr. Oteng condemned the incident and assured the public that the Ghana Police Service is investigating the matter.
According to the statement released by ABN on Friday, March 14, 2025, one of the attackers was captured in a viral video wearing a mask. Reports suggest that the men were acting on the instructions of the station’s CEO, Mr. Vincent Opare-Larbi. The incident has sparked outrage and raised concerns about the safety of media personnel.
In the statement signed by Dr. Kwaku Oteng, Founder and President of ABN, the network expressed regret over the incident and condemned it in the strongest terms.
