APOLOGIZE AND RESIGN FOR YOUR LIES AGAINST KEN OFORI ATTA – Fmr. Information Minister, Famimatu Abubakar To Special Prosecutor

Former Minister of Information, Fatimatu Abubakar, has criticized the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, calling for his resignation for spreading falsehoods regarding a fabricated raid on the home of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.

During a press conference held last week, the Special Prosecutor asserted that intelligence indicated the raid on the residence of the former minister—who has been placed on the wanted list for his ties to corruption-related cases—was fabricated or executed by imposters trying to undermine the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).

“Our intelligence points us to state that the purported raid of Mr. Ofori-Atta’s residence was staged or, at best, an imposter action in an attempt to cause disfavor for the OSP and to derail the investigation. The OSP is never deterred by such occurrences, and the investigations will continue as prescribed by law,” Kissi Agyebeng said.

However, it has come to light that the raid was genuine.

The operation, executed by armed military personnel, was directed by Richard Jakpa, who has recently taken on the role of Director of Special Operations at the National Security Secretariat.

While discussing the matter on Peace FM, Fatimatu Abubakar, a politician and lawyer, called on the Special Prosecutor to act honorably by apologizing to Ken Ofori-Atta and stepping down from his role due to incompetence.
