Veteran actor Wayoosi has threatened to take revenge on Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah until she retracts her remarks against the Kumawood film industry.
Despite having kept her efforts quiet for years, Martha Ankomah made headlines last week when she was subjected to abuse and insults by actor Lil Win.
It was revealed that Martha Ankomah was approached by some Kumawood producers to appear in one of their films, but she declined the offer, stating that people don’t think Kumawood films are very good.
An industry veteran, Wayoosi, expressed her displeasure with Martha Ankomah’s remark and said that it would be preferable for the actress to issue an apology.
He said that because Martha insulted Kumawood actors, she should take the appropriate action and issue an apology for her hurtful remarks.
He continued by saying that in addition to treating Kumawood actors and actresses with disrespect, Martha has also treated English-speaking industry colleagues who have appeared in Kumawood productions with contempt.
Martha Ankomah has not yet responded to this or even apologized to them for her remarks, which LilWin reportedly revealed were spoken in private.
