“ARTISTES PERFORMED FOR FREE AT RNAQ’S BIRTHDAY BASH” – Blakk Rasta Reveals

Renowned reggae artiste and radio host Blakk Rasta has disclosed that business tycoon Richard Nii-Armah Quaye (RNAQ) did not pay any musician who performed at his recent high-profile birthday celebration.

In an exclusive interview monitored by NKONKONSA.com (April 11, 2025), Blakk Rasta—citing a conversation with RNAQ—revealed that international stars like Diamond Platnumz, Davido, and Stonebwoy performed at the event without charging a fee, relying instead on their long-standing friendships with the billionaire.

“RNAQ told me he didn’t pay any artiste. His bond with Diamond Platnumz, for instance, goes back five years. When invited, Diamond only asked for a private jet pickup—no money discussed,” Blakk Rasta shared in a video posted on GHPage TV’s Instagram.

He added that Davido and Stonebwoy similarly performed based on mutual respect, not financial agreements.

However, Blakk Rasta hinted why Shatta Wale was noticeably absent from the star-studded lineup.

“My sources say Shatta Wale asked how much he’d be paid before agreeing to perform. Could that be why he was dropped?” he questioned.
