The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Assin Breku is in mourning following the death of its polling station chairman for Ninkyiso in a tragic motorbike accident.
The incident occurred on Friday, November 14, while the deceased, identified as Yahya, was returning from a campaign event for the party’s flagbearer hopeful, Bryan Acheampong. Both men were rushed to St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu for emergency treatment. Tragically, Yahya succumbed to his injuries and passed away on Sunday, November 16.
