ATIEKU CHURCH OF CHRIST SHS ADMINISTRATOR ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTS STUDENT INTO UNCONSCIOUSNESS
A Form 2 student has been admitted to the hospital, according to some heartbreaking news from Atieku Church of Christ.
The supervisor of the institution, known as Mr. Lee Evans, allegedly brutalized the pupil.
Reports have said that Mr Lee physically beat the student after a misunderstanding about a mobile phone.
According to certain students of the school who elected to offer a blow-by-blow account of the incident on the request of being anonymous, Mr. Evans confiscated a mobile phone belonging to one student and gave it over to another for safekeeping.
Afterwards, the victim tried to get the phone back for its owner.
The administrator allegedly became enraged by this behavior and was compelled to box him as a result.
Luckily, a University of Cape Coast lecturer who had come to enroll his nephew at the school stumbled upon some students at the door asking for assistance in getting the hurt student to a local medical facility.
The instructor stepped in right away and took the unconscious pupil to the hospital.
The lecturer informed the Wassa Ateiku Police Station about the incident after it happened.
As the crime is still being investigated, authorities moved quickly to arrest the school administrator.
