ATTORNEY-GENERAL FORMALLY FILES EXTRADITION REQUEST FOR KEN OFORI ATTA, 1 OTHER

The Attorney-General and Minister for Justice has confirmed that a formal extradition request has been submitted to authorities in the United States for the return of Ken Ofori-Atta and Ernest Darko Akore to Ghana.
According to the Attorney-General, the move is intended to ensure that the two individuals appear before the law to answer 78 corruption-related charges levelled against them by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).
