Media personality, Nana Romeo has supported the removal of vice and deputy positions appointed by the government.
He claimed that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s acknowledgement of limited activity as Vice President shows how unnecessary such positions can be.
Romeo also cited the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku-Mantey’s perceived lack of influence as additional support for his decision to eliminate these roles.
He claimed that Okraku-Mantey has not lived up to the expectations of the creative arts industry, which he views as a major concern.
