Ghanaian music superstar Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi, has ignited discussions online by disclosing his preference for women.
In a recent episode of the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast, KiDi expressed his belief that a woman engaging in sexual relations with a man ‘degrades’ a specific aspect of her soul.
The artist expressed his thoughts while responding to the inquiry of whether body count, referring to the number of individuals someone has had intimate relations with, is significant in selecting a partner.
KiDi states that body count is very significant to him, as he thinks that each time a woman sleeps with a man, she becomes emotionally attached to him.
KiDi mentioned that if that occurs and the relationship fails, the woman gives away a portion of her soul to that man.
He mentioned that a woman who has gone through that experience approximately 50 times will have very little of her soul remaining when he encounters her; for this reason, he thinks body count is significant.
KiDi expressed that he would choose a woman who hasn’t experienced such trauma over one who has.
“This is my truth; you do not have to agree with me… I do not want a woman who has given her body and soul out to too many people, because when I’m meeting you, I’m meeting a very degraded version of yourself,” the singer said.
“If you’re somebody I’m going to be calling mine. If you’re somebody I’m going to be taking home to Mama. If you’re somebody I’m going to be walking out with and holding hands with, proudly. It’s my truth. It [body count] matters,” he added.
