Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has been advised by Ghanaian sensational music rap comedian, Kwame Yogot to obtain his consent before utilizing any of his songs for election campaigning.

He claims that after the election, he learned that his music had been used without his permission during the Vice President’s NPP presidential campaign, which he considered offensive.

The Vice President was tagged in a video that he uploaded, according to him, and he was asked not to use any of his music without his consent. The Vice President has not yet replied.

Talking to Akua Sika on Happy 98.9FM’s Happy Evening Drive he said, “It’s business I’m doing so if you wants to use my song to promote anything of yours I think you should go through the right channels before doing so”.
