Ghanaian rapper Strongman Burner, also known as Osei Kwaku Vincent, believes that musical feuds are essential for musicians to remain significant in the industry.
In an interview on Onua FM, Strongman mentioned that a musician can remain in the spotlight by promoting a positive agenda and maintaining a positive image.
In his opinion, no matter how hard a musician tries to remain current, it is crucial to avoid negative publicity as it can have a lasting detrimental impact.
In his words, he said “Musical beefs make musicians relevant. People get to talk about you. The more they talk about you, the more relevant you become. So far as you are in the news, you are relevant. The only issue is when you keep being in the news for the wrong reasons”.
“It has some side effects. No serious company or brand will want to associate with you if you have a bad tag on your name or brand. You trend for some time after a bad publication but the side effects are wild. You can still stay relevant if you stay on the positive side”.
