Brother Sammy, a Ghanaian gospel artist, has expressed his opinions on Christians regarding betting, eating pork, and getting piercings as sinful.
He believes those activities are not sinful. He said he is puzzled by Christians labeling good things in life as sinful.
He encouraged individuals to refrain from using Christianity as a tool for intimidating others while firmly expressing their views on these matters.
During an interview on United Showbiz on UTV, Brother Sammy revealed that he regularly participates in betting because he views it as a way to become wealthier.
He noted that while many individuals pray for financial advances, they frequently disregard gambling as a valid method for rapid earnings.
The gospel artist also talked about his views on pastors being hypocritical by letting their children play American lotteries while telling others not to do the same.
Despite never having played the lottery, Brother Sammy stated that he would not preach against it. He claimed to know someone who financed church construction through earnings from gambling.
Brother Sammy also criticized the way people with tattoos and piercings are judged in churches, addressing societal opinions.
He said;
“Even when boys with tattoos and piercings enter churches, they look at them with judgmental eyes, it’s not fair. They judge Rastafarians but allow women to wear weaves and synthetic hair. We need to be truthful to each other”.
