Bishop Salifu Amoako, founder and leader of Alive Chapel International, has been involved in a car accident near Tesano Papaye in Accra.
The accident, which occurred on Tuesday, involved five vehicles, all of which sustained significant damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and all passengers emerged unharmed.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident, with more details expected to emerge. Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic but expressed relief that the incident did not result in any casualties.
This development follows a previous family-related tragedy involving Bishop Amoako’s son, Elrad Amoako. Earlier this year, Elrad was involved in a fatal car accident at East Legon that claimed the lives of two teenage girls. A 16-year-old boy at the center of that incident, who initially pleaded not guilty to charges of manslaughter, negligent harm, and dangerous driving, later changed his plea to guilty. The court sentenced him to six months at the Senior Correctional Centre.
