BLACK QUEENS SET TO FACE IVORY COAST IN TWO FRIENDLIES AHEAD OF 2024 WAFCON
Ghana’s women’s national team to play away matches in Abidjan as part of tournament preparations.
The Black Queens of Ghana are scheduled to play two international friendly matches against Ivory Coast on May 30 and June 3, 2025, as part of their preparations for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Both matches will take place away in Abidjan, offering the team an opportunity to fine-tune their skills ahead of the continental tournament set for Morocco later this year.
Head coach Kim Lars Björkegren is spearheading the team’s training and tactical plans, which include a series of strategic friendlies that began in March 2025.
The Ghana Football Association is expected to announce the full squad for the upcoming matches shortly.
