Blakk Rasta demonstrated his singing skills on the Urban Blend program on 3FM while talking about a petition from the New Ghana Social Justice Forum urging the French National Olympic and Sports Committee to stop Sarkodie from performing at the Africa Fan Zone.
He praised the group for their behavior, stating that if Sarkodie is indeed taken out of the performer list for the upcoming concert, it may act as a warning to other celebrities who behave inappropriately.
The radio host and musician emphasized how crucial it is for celebrities to be role models for their fans, pointing out the strong influence their behavior and statements can have on the community.
Blakk Rasta condemned Sarkodie’s response to the petition as being arrogant and disrespectful.
“We need some of these measures to be able to make some of our so-called celebrities responsible. This will teach a lot of us to be very careful how we speak. Sarkodie exhibited a lot of arrogance and when I speak like this then people will send me messages asking if I have a problem with Sarkodie,” he stated.
