BLAKK RASTA REVEALS ALLEGED HARSH CONDITIONS FOR KOFI BOAT, ACCOMPLICES IN FBI CUSTODY
The media personality claims the extradited Ghanaians are in solitary confinement and face a bleak legal battle, with a plea deal being their "only realistic chance" for leniency.

Controversial media personality Blakk Rasta has provided a stark update on the case of extradited Ghanaian businessman Kofi Boat and his two accomplices, alleging they are facing severe conditions in United States custody and a daunting legal fight.
Speaking on a recent episode of his show, The Black Pot, Blakk Rasta claimed that Kofi Boat, Inusah Ahmed, and Derrick Van Yeboah are currently being held in solitary confinement within a U.S. correctional facility after pleading not guilty to sophisticated fraud charges during their initial court appearance in New York.
According to Blakk Rasta, an insider revealed that the defendants’ prospects are “bleak.” He asserted that their most viable path to a reduced sentence would be to accept a plea deal from American prosecutors, suggesting a tough battle lies ahead.
“The suspects were awaiting another court date,” Blakk Rasta added, noting that “additional incriminating material had recently surfaced,” which could further complicate their defense.
Kofi Boat was apprehended in a high-profile operation involving Interpol and the FBI on June 13, 2025. U.S. authorities allege he was a central figure in a fraud network that orchestrated romance scams and business email compromises dating back to 2016, netting approximately $100 million from elderly Americans and various companies.
While Kofi Boat has consistently denied the allegations, and his legal team has contested the $100 million figure, Blakk Rasta’s latest claims paint a picture of a grim reality for the accused as they navigate the U.S. justice system.
The case continues to be closely watched, highlighting the increasing international collaboration in combating cybercrime and the severe consequences faced by those accused.
