“WE REMAIN OPTIMISTIC AND CONFIDENT THAT SUZZY PINAMANG’S SURGERY WILL BE SUCCESSFUL” – Ibrahim Mahama’s Team Clarifies
NKONKONSA.com has received an official update regarding Suzzy Pinamang’s medical status, clarifying that the young gunshot survivor has not yet undergone eye surgery in the UK.
The update was provided by Rafik Mahama, Special Aide to businessman and philanthropist Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, who has played a key role in facilitating Suzzy’s medical support.
According to Rafik, the medical process leading up to surgery has just begun at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, one of the most reputable eye care facilities globally.
“It is not true that she has already had the surgery and recovered—this is too soon. We are still in the process leading up to the surgery,” he clarified.
“We remain optimistic and confident that the surgery will be successful.”
This clarification comes after earlier reports from Nkonkonsa.com suggested that Suzzy had undergone successful surgery and regained her eyesight. That information has now been corrected.
Rafik Mahama emphasized that any further updates will be provided after significant medical developments occur, particularly post-surgery.
“Moorfields is among the best in the world, and we strongly believe Suzzy will come out well after her procedure,” he added.
Suzzy’s travel and medical arrangements were made possible through support from North Tongu MP Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who secured UK visas for Suzzy and two relatives. The Ghana High Commission in London has also offered special consular assistance.
The case gained national attention following advocacy by Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye, MP for Bantama, who first highlighted Suzzy’s story after her near-fatal gunshot ordeal.
NKONKONSA.com will continue to publish only verified updates as the situation progresses.
