Unconfirmed reports privy to NKONKONSA.com indicates that former Light Heavyweight champion Braimah Kamoko well known as Bukom Banku has been remanded by an Accra Circuit court for allegedly stabbing a man.
According to the prosecutor. on November 25, 2022, at 5:30 pm, the boxer and a few of his pals wrecked havoc and attacked others in Bukom.
Ishmael Neequaye, the complainant and a neighbor, admitted that the nearby noise had awakened him. He admitted he made an effort to settle things down.
However, the prosecutor claimed that Bukom Banku gave his son Mustapha a broken bottle to use to stab Ishamel Neequaye after spotting the complainant. The complaint was transported to the Korle Bu teaching hospital when the son of Bukom shoved the broken bottle into his abdomen.
The two entered a not guilty plea, but Justice Adelaide Abui Keddey, the presiding judge, refused to grant them bail.
The boxer and his son have been remanded to reappear on Monday, 19th December. However, the third accused Prosper Quaye, 32 is on the run.
