One of the conveners of the Fix The Country campaign has made a revelation about their encounter with the incumbent government over their protest.
The group, which has on several occasions criticised the government, has been embarking on a series of demonstrations, demanding the government put in place proper measures to alleviate the suffering of Ghanaians.
This discussion gains particular relevance in light of the ongoing #OccupyJulorbiHouse protest in the country.
The protest, organized by the Democracy Hub, a group of young activists, aims to address critical economic challenges and issues related to corruption. Despite facing an injunction from the Ghana Police, the protest took place on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
In a tweet by one of the conveners, he alleges that cabinet offered them 1 million dollars to cease their protest and disembark the demonstration but they rejected it.
According to the tweep, the reason for not backing down the protest is because they want a better Ghana for everybody.
