The renowned Ghanaian TV personality Kwaku Simtim-Misa, also known as KSM, has advised Ghanaians to pay respect to people “while they are living” as opposed to waiting till they have passed away.
In a tweet with the hashtag #celebraetheliving on February 7, 2023, KSM expressed worry over how some Ghanaians reacted to the news that Christian Atsu was a victim of the earthquake in Turkey that left more than 9,000 dead and tens of thousands injured.
In support of his claim that it is essential to present them with their flowers before they depart, he cited Asamoah Gyan (Baby Jet), the former captain of the Black Stars, the country’s senior soccer team.
