Shalima Abbiusi, a spokesperson for the New Force political movement, has been in detention for the past four days, the movement has announced.
A statement from the New Force, which is believed to be a new political movement started by Nana Kwame Bediako Cheddar (aka Freedom Jacob Caesar), has called out the government for unlawfully detaining Ms Abbiusi, who is a foreign Ghana living here with a permit.
In recent days news emerged that a spokesperson for the New Force has been detained by police for using forged documents to obtain her residence permit.
However, in their statement, the New Force reveal that Abbiusi has been held for over four days and harshly interrogated by the BNI who are attempting to discover the people behind her movement.
The statement said she has been in the country for so many years and has only been arrested on this mysterious claim since the New Force started making waves.
The New Force called on authorities to release her and stop infringing on her fundamental human rights.
