Chris was taken into custody at Manchester Airport in relation to an alleged attack on a music producer with a bottle.
Just a few weeks before he was scheduled to start his global Breezy Bowl XX Tour, the 36-year-old American musician was arrested by Met Police investigators early today.
In February 2023, Brown was charged with attacking producer Abe Diaw at the Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London.
Chris Brown was arrested yesterday afternoon after arriving in Manchester on a private jet.
Met Police detectives arrested Brown just after 2 am at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester.
The Met said: “A 36-year-old man was arrested at a hotel in Manchester shortly after 02:00hrs on Thursday, 15 May on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.”
“He has been taken into custody, where he remains. The arrest relates to an incident at a venue in Hanover Square on 19 February 2023.”
Mr. Diaw, the complainant, claims that while the celebrity and his group were at a Dirty Martini club night at around three in the morning, Brown attacked him without cause.
He says Brown attacked and kicked him while he was on the ground after smashing him over the head with a bottle.
“He hit me over the head two or three times. My knee collapsed as well,” Mr Diaw told The Sun.
