Christopher Kofi Okyere Sorkpa, a 33-year-old individual who claims to be a preacher, has received a 3-year sentence for conspiracy to commit unlawful damage and five years for each of the six counts of unlawful damage.
Reports revealed that the sentences will occur simultaneously.
He was convicted of damaging cars owned by Parliament members and staff, which included two Toyota V8 SUVs, two Toyota Camry Sedans, and one Rav 4 SUV, with an earth chisel.
Sorkpa’s partner, Wisdom Ahli, was placed in police custody because of flawed charges.
The prosecution has sought an adjournment to revise the charges, with the case now set for January 9, 2025.
