“CLASSIC MAN” JIDENNA ARRIVES IN NIGERIA

Sensational recording artiste Jidenna aka “Classic Man” is currently in Nigeria.

Jidenna who walk the red carpet at the just ended MTV VMAs 2016 with Nigerian Singer Tiwa Savage in New York, arrived in his homeland Lagos, Nigeria on Tuesday evening August 30, 2016 for his West African promotional tour.

According to Pulse.ng, the swank king, popularly known for his hit song,‘ Classic Man’, will be visiting Lagos, Nigeria for an exclusive album launch party which will take place on September 1, 2016 at the music hub of Nigeria.

Jidenna will be debuting his album “Long Live The Chief” at Hard Rock Café, Lagos, on Thursday, September 1, 2016.

Jidenna will tour the African continent for a series of exclusive performances, album release parties and the filming of a BBC documentary, which will chronicle his homecoming journey to Nigeria.

Speaking on the album, Jidenna says “The record as a whole represents all my experiences of the many worlds I’ve lived in and traveled through from Lagos to Los Angeles”, he told Pulse.ng.

Jidenna is best known for his popular song ‘Classic man’ featuring Roman GianArthur which was nominated at the 58th Grammy Awards held on February 2016 for Best rap/sung collaboration, a single contained in his collective EP “The Eephus” with Janelle Monae for Wondaland Records.

Jidenna Theodore Mobisson (born May 4, 1985), known professionally as Jidenna, is a Nigerian-American recording artist signed to Wondaland Records. In 2015, Jidenna released two singles, “Classic Man” and “Yoga”, promoting the label’s compilation EP The Eephus. His debut album, Long Live the Chief is set to be released later this year.
